UPDATE Well i fixed the ugly lines...i hope it looks a little better now!

... and you love MY Dark... The title is taken from Alanis Morissette's song Everything ...Yes i know, why am i using an Alanis song for and Evanescence picture? Doesn't make sense does it? Well to me it does... I love the lyrics and in my opinion that one line fits my drawing perfectly.

Okay first and formost this is a drawing i did for *im-jess's contest she's holding So vote for me
Second... this is a drawing of Evanescence - the band (duh!)
Thirdly...I am really sorry about the blue streaks o_o;;; I'm stupid and drew this on a big piece of cardboard and it resulted in a bunch of ugly vertical lines on my drawing and therefore was much harder to scan! Not to mention i had to scan it twice and piece the two images together in photoshop because it was toooooo big. Damnit i need a digital camera!! By the way, if you see this image put together like this anywhere else that person most likely stole it from me (and i shall kill them ) Yes these images aren't mine, but i did take each one and put this particular image together for this contest, so that picture is mine...or in other words my idea. Okay enough of that!

Time it took... i sooo lost track, you know me -_-;;; let's estimate shall we.... i spent all break working on this, that was a total of eleven days...but i didn't work on it the whole time because mostly i was working too...and shoping 2 of the days (well not all day) ... I watched a total of 3 or 4 movies ... spent time with family and friends on thanksgivig... well i still don't know...

Materials - 2b, 4b, 6b, 9b graphite pencils, a blender and i drew this on white card stock...i will NEVER, i repeat never try and draw on that again. It was a pain in the ass!!! It's hard to blend and get the shading the way you want and it smears like crazy! Ugh!

Overall i am very pleased with the way it turned out I hope you all enjoy it!! And hopefully one day if everything i want to do works out i will mee evanescence and have them all sign this for me and i shall give them a really nice copy in return
